Wow… I can’t believe you’re reading this. You must be pretty interested in me, which well… Is flattering.
Basically my name is Mikko Haapoja. I live in Toronto and yes I am married (to Jenny) and no we do not have kids yet.
I went to school for Computer Programming and Analysis at Seneca College. While I was in school I started following sites like http://www.thefwa.com and started thinking “man it’d be cool to work for an advertising agency some day and do this stuff”.
Well when school ended my “dreams” came true. After some hard searching for a “job” I found a place at GJP Advertising and Design. GJP was a great place to learn about the business. From GJP I moved to Jam3Media to work in a full fledged “Interactive firm”. It was a great move…
I’m still currently at Jam3Media. I’m sure you’ll see some of my work from there popping up here once and awhile. But I think mostly you’ll see a lot of “Spiking”/experimentation happening here because that’s what I like to do with my free time. (sometimes… I’m not that big of a nerd that, that’s all I do)
